| Mikasa's awakening, that explains how she's so strong, and damn Eren has balls for a kid, truly a hero. Also this solidates Mikasa's feeling for him masterfully in just one episode, no bullshitting around like other animes usually do lol. |

| Armin should strengthen up his self for future battles, Mikasa is the real deal she's so intimidating even the people feared her, And that one slice up that titan's nape is just so smooth Past Mikasa was cute as hell but damn her trauma got to her, Her parents died when she was just a young age I feel so bad for her, But Eren already have the resolve to take the action and that snapped Mikasa to fight as well and made her strong That scene was sweet Eren giving Mikasa the scarf that's why it's always with her, She's going to have a hard time knowing that Eren died. |

Armin's monologue touched me; although he is weak, his tenacity is just inspiring. And not only that, but he wants to be better and that's why he is relatable. How Mikasa took down that Titan and saved the people was so hot!  On the flashback: How was Mikasa's mother the last Asian? SPOILERS "If we don't win, we'll die. If we win, we'll live. | Damn that girl trying to resuscitated her half-body boyfriend. Armin as always under the impression of useless af. Mikasa doing a god work there. No wonder there's lot of love here and there. Her backstory also quite impactful and understandable, to this dark fantasy story. But, holy shit, Eren able to find the culprit alone, not to mention he brave enough to kill those two alone, and then awakened Mikasa from the cowardly slumber. Sasuga, Eren Yaeger. Already got a ball of steel since that age. Bit of questioning the difference of personality with his father, though, and then his mother ... |

I know he's probably seen dead people before since his dad's a doctor, but that doesn't explain why he was so easily able to murder without even batting an eyelash. That's definitely not normal... I can't decide if he's intelligent and mature for having learned and accepted that from witnessing what happens in nature all the time or abnormally and inhumanly rational for applying it so literally to life without considering laws and morality or anything of the sort which stands for the word 'civilized' in civilization. Personally, I don't disagree with what he did. He's right, the police, the Germanderie, any and every help, usually arrives late and you have to do what you can to protect yourself and continue living. But inside those walls, I thought the society was more feudal and had laws. So how was it so easy and simple for Eren to understand and apply the 'fight and live or hesitate and die' rule but not be affected by perhaps what the law might say or his father might think or anything like "these people might go to prison and learn to change"? I think there's something more about Eren's past that we don't know. Either that or I'm forgetting how children think and function at the age of 9. This comment was light-years ahead of this episode. |

| I love the way how Eren wraps his scarf around Mikasa but then just proceeds to throw the remainder of it across her face. "You were just plain lucky" ?? Ok maybe with the last dude yes, Eren had no idea he was going to unlock a killer Mikasa. But the little guy totally dealt with the first two on his own ez. 6 episodes in and yeah. This show sure was brutal. What really hits hard though is the end, when Mikasa goes to help Eren and the others fall back, not knowing that he's DEAD. Eren basically became everything to Mikasa that day when he saved her; to lose him what just be losing everything. The real brutal part though is at the beginning where they show Armin shooting an anchor into the side of the wall but it deflecting off the surface. I would imagine that would be a really common occurrence actually, or maybe everyone is just really lucky at their anchors getting securely sunken into whatever surface no matter how hard. |

| Too absurd. Firstly, Eren has a happy family, there's no reason for him to be angry in that situation. The way Eren acts only proves that the author wants those two guys to die as quickly as possible. Second, Eren didn't know Mikasa at all, what is his motive for revenge? He didn't even know Mikasa's face. However, I like Mikasa's psychological development, so wonderful, a broken soul is like a strong shield. The only ridiculous thing about this character is her talent. Such a person can't have strength like that come from nowhere, unless she has superpowers. |

I don't want to be confused for such a long time. And Mikasa's family only knew Grisha, they had never seen Eren before.Yea, this episode was confusing, but it will make sense in a later season. Notice in this episode when Eren's father, Grisha, asked Mikasa if she remembers them and that they used to come several times. |

| Bro that was not okay ;_; but also really interesting lol I was wondering if they were going to bring up different races in this world, and it looks like for now, Mikasa may be the last Asian. Probably not, but we'll see. I have to wonder if there are any other settlements out there in other parts of the world |
